Stepper Motors After Journeyman Upgrade

I just upgraded my original woodworker to the X-50 journeyman. (Wow - what an easy upgrade!) The new X-50 rail is a beast. It dwarfs the original rail. Now, with that said, are there any concerns with the original stepper motors that are on the Y rails? The new rail includes a larger stepper motor for moving the router across the X, but the original motors on the Y rail have to move the new monster rail across the Y.

I’ve never had any problems with the motors and hope it stays that way!

Those are the same ones that are sold with the Journeyman so there will be no issue. Those motors are seriously strong! I may or may not have had one get caught on a shelf and move my whole table… :face_with_hand_over_mouth:

Yes they are. I didn’t notice that the probe magnet had latched itself onto one of the Y-axis rails. When the magnet got slammed between the two extrusions when the Y-axis got to its end of travel, the magnet housing got cracked. My bad.
