Still waiting on redline controller sale

All this talk about the redline controller, but no word yet on when it might be for sale. What it actually does that is better for my onefinity elite CNC machine nor what kind of price it might be. All things I am very interested in. It has been months now that they have been selling it “with a machine”, but us poor folk that upgraded to the Masso elite just before this came out are left behind at the back of the line. Not the way to treat loyal customers at all.

Ahh shucks. Please don’t be upset that you can’t get one yet. Plus, the Masso is an amazing controller. Some of us, for some reason, are willing to jump in on the “beta” to help refine the sysytem in the real world. My machine is coming but I do have a CNC that I built a couple of years ago and from experience anything “new and exciting” should come with a warning label that some features may not be available yet. So, this guinea pig has an Elite Foreman coming with the Redline controller. My guess is by the time it comes to market on it’s own, it will be a well refined controller. It just might be worth the wait in the end. Pricing thoughts: probable somewhere around what a Masso costs. I don’t thing it’s going to be an $800.00 controller. My guess is around $1000.00 to $1200. Isn’t a stand aone Masso about $1100 U.S.?

Not the point at all. I don’t want to have to buy yet another machine i already have one in fact i have now bought two in the past two years .my argument and frustration Is why can i not buy just a controller. I am one of those willing to be a beta tester but it will now cost me 4 thousand dollars to do that. Oh wait nope I can’t now even if I wanted to spend it, and why were they out there only for people willing to spend 4 thousand dollars. Also why is there so little information about it anywhere on the forum or website? Curious minds want to know.

Really seems like you’re just looking for a reason to complain. The facts are rather simple. They made it clear that they were only selling a few to test. You can take a product that hasn’t been tested and sell to the masses. Every machine, video game, heck even movies go through test groups before being sold to masses. I bet if you would have just a little patience in time they will release an upgrade which I believe they have already stated they would.

As far as the controller goes I have had my redline for about a month. So far I’m impressed with it. But I also have nothing to compare to as I have never owned a masso. I have friends that do have the masso but as far as I can tell they both cut exactly the same. Just a different interface so far.

Creating the files is the same.
Adding to machine is the same
Homing and zeroing is same
Cutting is the same

Just a different delivery of the interface. Eventually this very well may have more ideal features then the masso or it may end up the same.

You have an awesome machine that is that!!
