I would look at your G code. If your G code only has one tool and it is number 1 does everything work OK? To keep things simple I just have one tool per G code and always tool one
My OF never goes to the tool setter and all my carves are perfect. Two I did yesterday
Maybe also review your AC power input. My spindle on a dedicated 30Amp 220V breaker
My OF on a dedicated 20Amp 110v breaker and my vacuum system on another dedicated
20amp 110v breaker.

I too had this issue. Our tool setter is mounted on the spoil board at the back left side of the machine. I found that changing the “Save Z Height” in VcarvePro solved this issue. The downside is that we have to set that height to 1.75" which means each new cut, the spindle retracts to that height to move, adding time to cut files.
Does anyone have a workaround for that? A way to move the spindle away from the tool setter before starting the cut files?
Thanks.
