Regarding the price at the hardware store I mentioned above, I checked again by looking at their website, that was BB/BB quality, but of course it’s also a hardware store price and with cutting service included. Normally I would buy at the lumber yard.

Phase 1 complete. Came out dead flat. Note to self…flush trimming MDF creates a horrific amount of dust.
