I have a fairly new X35 with the Touch Screen that comes with it and it was working fine until recently. Upon boot up the browser would get stuck on the popup window requesting to Home the Machine. Where clicking cancel or home would clear that popup. However it’s no longer register taps for mouse clicks like it did before. It registers the cursor and moves it around just fine. I figured it was an issue with the touch screen and ended up buying a new one from amazon. This new one works just as the original. It loads up the browser and registers the cursor movement but not the cursor clicks.
What could be the issue here?
Version 1.3.0
I understand that connecting a mouse or computer would solve this, but this is not feasible for me and the touch screen should be functioning and allow me to use the machine as intended.
I’m not sure if this will help or not, but I’ve had “weird” behavior when I turn on my controller BEFORE the monitor is turned on. Have you tried turning on the monitor first, then the controller?
I tried plugging in a mouse and it is not registering the mouse clicks on the same popup to home the machine.
Also, if the gamepad wireless receiver USB stick is plugged in and I boot up the machine, it will stay stuck on a different popup trying to process the gcode of a file and stay on 0%. The only way I can get past this is to remove the USB stick and hold down the power button until the machine shuts down, then power it back up without the wireless receiver installed. Making it so I can no longer use the gamepad.
