Updated to 1.4.2, can't delete G code

Since i was replacing the Raspberry Pi controller I realized I was on 1.4.1. Once everything was working good and before reassembling the case I decided to update to 1.4.2. Usually I do it with the USB stick but this time I did it with the Raspberry Pi imager.

All went fine except there was a pre loaded G-code file. When I press the delete button nothing shows up to delete. I loaded a simple G-code program i created and now that file replaced it but it can’t be seen to be deleted. If I try loading another file, it adds onto the existing G code but still can’t be deleted.

When you press the delete button two headers show up “folder” and “files”. Under folder is “default”. Under files is nothing. I thought there was a way of manually deleting files but I couldn’t find it.

I ended up reimaging the SD card. That created a new problem. It would only boot in Rescue mode (more on that later). But now I can click on the default folder and the g-code loaded shows up and I can delete it. I ended up reverting back to 1.4.1 and no longer having a problem.

Here’s “rescue” mode:

Here’s the fault log:

Not sure how to fix this, it looks like a file or directory is missing. Since I have a rotary on order and I assume I’ll have to go to a newer OS I’m not sure if I’m going to worry about it. But if there’s a simple fix it might be nice to know in case someone else runs into this.
