I an new to the cnc world. I have completed a couple of projects with now issues. Using 1/4 inch shank bits. I am using Easel Pro and I ran my roughing pass with a 1/4 inch shank bit and then needed to change to a 1/32 bit. I have that in 1/8 inch shank. When I changed the bit and started the file it wasn’t cutting in the correct area. How should I probe for the new bit?
Re-zero the Z axis after installing new bit.

Did you turn off the 1F while switching bits? If so, don’t. I have done what you are talking about lots of times. Like Alex said, switch bits and then zero just the Z axis and you should be good to go. You may want to try CAMotics to simulate what the G code is telling the controller what to do. I like to split things up to identify where the problem is.
