Vcarves going just outside the lines?

Any masters out there that can help me? I am trying to do some vcarve inlays and when I make my pocket or female side it its taking a little too much out of corners. It almost looks like its missing a step or loosing its position in the corners. Pictures attached. These should be sharp corners with a 30 degree vbit.

Also attached a photo of the toolpath view in VCarve showing it should be a straight line there.

That almost looks like your bit is causing that…running into the side of the wall.

I agree. The bit parameters in the software might not match the bit’s actual dimension. It looks like it may be a little wider than the software thinks it is.
