Roger you’re a genius, Downloaded the 10.5 and there she is, good job, however you know what happens when you do good, I’ll be coming back…LOL God Bless for your help
Haha no worries and glad you got it working.
Yes sir now to just figure how to match the zeroing three offset
Older post, but confirming I had to do this ‘install postprocessor’ step through the menu even after copying to PostP and reloading the program. The laser toolpath would show, but post processor was not in the menu options when attempting to save.
I am new to this j tech laser. In my test project I have burn marks on each letter. I read that they are caused by dwell time. As I understand it dwell time it the time it takes the spindle to ramp up and ramp down. Thus the lag and the burn marks. Q1: is there a way to adjust the dwell time? Q2: Should I be adding the laser as a motor in the dashboard settings? If so any idea of settings?
Are you using Vetric software? In Vetric you must purchase the laser module and then you can set your engraving to get the burn you want.
How can LB be used to directly drive the 1F? I don’t want the file xfer step, rather using all the other features in LB that can control the machine directly, in real-time.
it cannot in lightburn.
Are there any apps that can directly control the controller? Or is it only a file xfer to the 1F controller app and that’s it?
Since the onefinity controller is a computer itself (which is a benefit), nothing can directly connect to the controller.
It would be nice to have some of the real-time controls during a run like what LB provides. The Power & Speed are a good example, especially if it’s a tight portion of a project that starts to burn more than other parts (or there are some different materials in the workpiece that burn differently). In LB you can adjust them for those special moments in the run and then return things to normal for the rest of the project.
Can the 24 watt laser be controlled in LB so as to fire it at 1% to set position? If so, what does the tool setting in Onefinity have to be set at? Is it JTech laser (disabled) or (Hi-lo) or one of the others?
