I just purchased and installed these 2 new programs and neither have onefinity option for saving the
gcode. Tried all the ones that ended in.nc but get errors when I try to run. I downloaded the V1 PP from the forum but get error message when I open the program.
Any help would greatly applicated.

I dont see that as an option when I try to save the file.

What software are you using to create your G-code?
You should have a setting in the software to choose
what pp you want to use.

I found a thread that has the grbl pp in inch and mm.
Scroll down the page about half way and you will find it under
Mark.

Nick, I’ve done lithophanes using Photovcarve. I found a 60mm or 1/16 bull nose bit more effective than V bits. You can see the difference when you preview the tool path.
Admittedly this was done on an xcarve, I’ve just ordered my wood worker X50. Also, the image is reversed for a lithophane and that may make a difference.
