Randomly today during a carve my z-axis went down instead of up at the end of the toolpath. I thought maybe it was the file, however, when using the joystick to move the z-axis, it controls erratically and goes up when I press down and down when I press up. When I get to the top, instead of stopping, it just reverses in the opposite direction.
When I try to home Z, it goes up to the top and then switches and runs back down, until eventually it presents an e-stop.
I tried rebooting the machine, I tried resetting the configuration and I upgraded my firmware to the latest version.
I’m not sure what to try to troubleshoot next. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!
