The z axis stepper motor doesn’t turn. It just vibrates, even off of its mounting. Ideas?

First verify cabling and connectors are tight and look at the indicators tab on the control page, under the motors heading you should see all green thumbs up (motor 3 is the Z axis):

If that all looks ok I’d open a case with Onefinity support to troubleshoot further.

I had a similar issue. My issue is I had plugged the Z cable into the X-axis incorrectly (I mistakenly turned the connector 90 degrees). This page was helpful: Troubleshooting: Rail is getting hung, stuck, or out of alignment
