I have one of the original woodworker series cnc and was currently carving a 3d file and had to stop just after starting because the 1/16 bn was carving too deep. I have done this before with no issues but this time it messed up the x-axis. I checked all of the usual suspects but it seems like a controller issue.
Any help would be appreciated.
there is a section to output error codes in the controller I believe. You can connect to your controller on a local network if you have it connected to wifi. Download that and send to support if it’s controller based. if the motor works and responds to basic jogging and seems to work fine then, could be an issue with the gcode or perhaps the motor is starting to fail? Either way do a test cut with a basic 2D file to make sure the bit stays consistent at a certain depth.

Thank you. Will try that.
If possible, back up your settings and files in case you need to restore to a previous working state.
