Finally with the aid of Onefinity Support was able to get my machine to Home. The first issue was that my machine shipped with a broken Z3 connector - and I didn’t recognize that it was broken until customer service sent me an new motor with a new connector cable. I had trouble removing the X-drive motor - and thanks to CYMRO99 was able to remove it. I noticed Onefinity issued a new motor replacement video on You Tube yesterday, which depicts how to replace a motor when it has a drag chain rail.
Once that was fixed the X-axis caused homing issues - because in the interim waiting for the new motor and cable I decided to install dust collection. I took off the original cable clamp atop the Z slider and replaced it with the Rowdy Roman camp to support the dust hose - that was a mistake. I had not noticed the original cap had a metal probe extending out of it - but didn’t realize that would fit in a slot in the X-axis sensor (all the limit switching mechanisms have those probes and slots). After Onefinity Support asked me for a overhead video of the X-axis trying to home - they told me today that I shouldn’t have removed that original part with the sensor probe.
I reinstalled it. Then went to F1 and again saved the Masso files from the USB drive and rebooted the machine. It homed for the first time. I believe I can use the Rowdy Roman Mast Support on top of the original cable cap on the slider if I get #12 1 inch machine screws.
Thanks to everyone for your assistance.
