Z probe sets wrong hght

After I posted this I remembered that when I first got my machine, I checked that it had the 20mm slider, I’ll wager that 1f sent me an SD card set for the 16mm, so will try to reset it next time am in the shop,
Onefinity sent new SD card, installed it this morning, machine seems to be operating normally except for the Z hght probe or surface zero.
Machine responds to game controller as usual, when I probed for Z, using the probe block, started the carve & the router was cutting air. when I brought the tool bit down to Z zero, it is about 1/4" above the surface of the material.
When I set Z zero at the surface of the material, it seems to run ok, but a pocket that is set for 10 mm and reads 10 mm on the depth cut is only about 5mm deep. Also when the z motor is lowering the router it is taking much more time than before.

I reset the machine to default, after some thought & it did not change the machines behavior. But the machine acting as if it has the 16mm Z axis when it should be set for the 20mm Z slider would explain why the machine is responding properly except in the Z height.
Please let it be this.
