I received my Onefinity this week and I’m working on setting it up, machining and surfacing the spoilboard etc. I had followed the video on YouTube to fine tune the touch probe by measuring the thickness and updating it on the controller. During my spoilboard surfacing operation I had a tool change included using M6 which also probed for the Z height. The operation following the newly probed Z height was cutting air which had me confused. I looked for answers on the forums and didn’t find one so I wanted to share what I learned so it may help others. If you change the probe-zdim value you should also update the GCode G92 value associated with the tool-change below it to match. The default value was “G92 Z15.4” where the 15.4 should be updated to match the probe-zdim. After updating the value it resolved the issue I was experiencing.
