Concerning the 80mm spindle mount, any chance a POrter-Cable 75182 or any other 80mm sized router would fit in a pinch? I still plan to purchase a spindle but wondering in the event of a spindle breakdown could a router be used to finish working on a project?
Since our 80 mm spindle is going back, I thought too what about my Bosh router. But it measures about 87 mmand I think this is the standard size for larger routers.
Right now I’m making a spacer adapter so I can put the 65 mm router into the 80 mm Z adapter. I figure just as long as it holds the router from moving it should work. Even though it might be exactly centered it will be all right because it’s zeroed.
