This is a “simple” Eagle Scout plaque that I made for some new eagle scouts in my troop. Used Pine, since that was the only thing I had big enough at the time. Did a carve for the red, poured epoxy, then went back after it cured and did the lettering. I was not happy with the tint of the words, needed to add more white, but we did not see it was too dark until after we had it done.
A few more pours later, did a surfacing, then a clear pour on top. Some laser cut wood for the top, and we have a nice plaque. I would changes the color of the wording if I did this again. I did try to get the knot in the wood positioned out of the way, but I missed my spacing on this one, oh well.
