Are you considering a 48" x 48" version at some point? looks to me like you could reuse the 48" X axis unit for both Y axis, too, with only minor changes?
I’m sure they could (and maybe offer one). They even maybe testing it out now. Looking at the price difference between the X-50 woodworker and Journeyman I would say it would be close to $1000 extra. At some point the price moves out of the hobbyist price range. At that point people are also going to want a nicer controller which is more price creep.

Technically if you utilize the “tiling” design method, your machine is a 48"x96" already today
