Can easily turn ball screws by hand when machine is on

I’ve had the Elite Foreman for about half a year now. Upgraded from a Shapeoko Pro XXL that I had zero issues with. But I upgraded to go to a larger machine and decided not to opt for the Shapeoko 5.
My issue is noticeable on V-carving. For example, on straight line v-carves, the line carved will have a wave in it from where it initially plunged in under pressure and then straightens up. I never has this with my Shapeoko. With the machine idle, I can take any ball screw with 3 fingers and turn it and let go, and it bounces back. This can easily happen during running as well. That lets me think that if I can easily do this by hand, then carving into wood at 100ipm would definitely be noticeable in my cuts. Is this common on these machines?

Sounds like holding torque may not be set properly, but I’m not sure how to address this on the Masso controller.
