I have a small project box that I have powder coated. I would now like to cnc holes and shallow marks into the box. Any advice?

Are you wanting to engrave text, shapes, etc? Are you thinking you’d want to remove just the powder coat with the CNC or cut into the project box?
I’d like to cut slightly into the aluminum for the marks, and all the way through for holes for 1/4 audio jacks. The marks will be 1/16.
I don’t see any reason this wouldn’t work. There are plenty of people on the forum who use their machine to cut aluminum. I think fixturing your box is going to be the hardest part of the endeavor.
