I am based in The UK and cant speak highly enough of Toolstoday They have a great range and the delivery service is fantastic I often receive them in the UK 3 days after order.
The quality of the bits is great and the old saying you get what you pay for is true they aren’t the cheapest but they aren’t top level price i have a 1/4" down cut that wont wear out!!!
I bought 5 bits from Spetools, and one of them broke the first time out. Spetools has been responsive to my issue and is sending out a replacement bit (good customer service; shipping was VERY fast as well!). As to quality of the bit, time will tell!
From what I’ve seen, buying Amana bits on amazon is usually fulfilled by ToolsToday anyway. Like others here I like their service - and their loyalty program offsets shipping costs (for the most part).
I do have a bunch of what I consider throw-away 1/8" compression and downcut bits from ebay that work great - especially for MDF/plywood. But I really like the Amana insert fly-cutter and v-bit that I have. Different tools for different jobs!
When you need a bit in a hurry toolstoday comes through every time. Great company
Don’t you find the postage high?
Slightly high but great bits and a great service and very helpful
Another Tooltoday.com buyer. I think it’s $40 or $50 and you get free shipping. Maybe on the west coast it could be different but for me I get the bits in 2 days with free shipping. Plus they offer a 10% code for first time buyers every time you go to their site. Yesterday I ordered a 1/4" spiral downcut bit and a back cutter for raised panels via the USPS and it’ll be here tomorrow. They have both a USPS and UPS free shipping option. In the summer I use UPS but in winter I go with USPS to avoid having the guy try to make it up my hill.
