I chose Carveco because I have Forman 4’X4’ and VCarv would not use the hole 4x4 area. I found a free download for a box that looks like a stack of books. but it’s in a CRV format. is there anyone who would convert this file to SVG form me. I’m told that if you have VCarv you can choose to save file as SVG and Carveco can read that. and if you can help me, how do we do it. I’m not great with computers.
VCarvePro uses the full area - no real limitations at all. We use VCarvePro and Cut2DPro with 5 x 10 cnc machines every day.
That I did not know. when I bought this CNC machine, I had to choose what program to use I got a year free. what I read at that time the free version was limited.
I think the free version of V-Carve will not write G-code. I am not 100% certain, but basically, it is very limited for use on an actual machine.

It is more complicated than that - If you are running V Carve Pro desktop then you are limited to 24 x 24 And the free trial will not produce gcode
You may be able to use Carveco by importing a DXF file
You should be able to export a DXF file from VCarve
Did you know the there was a Vectric splinter group that started up CarveCo

I may have net been clear I’m using Carveco program. And not able to load the program with the extension CRV. The free file I found on YouTube this box project uses .CRV I believe this is the file format for VCarv. trying to find a way to use it on google I read that if I could find someone who had VCarv they could load program and save it as a SVG file, and that file could be used with my Carveco program. here is the link to the video https://youtu.be/CAzAvPwpOB8?si=o9gydp1CQ4GhAiZw if anyone could help I would be grateful.
where you saying I should use DXF file format.
when I say free, I’m referring to Onefinity giving a key for one year of use of program. VCarv limited size in that ver. Carveco did not so since I had to learn how to use one any way, I chose Carveco.
