Forgot to save my carve file (NGC) to a CRV file

How can I get my NGC file back to a CRV editable file to make adjustments?

I neglected to “save as” to save to a CRV, and now I can’t get back into the file to make adjustments.

Unfotunatly, there is not a way to open a CRV with the ngc gcode file. You may want to reach out to vectric to see if there is a work around with this we are not aware of.

That might make for an interesting coding project: GCode to a 3d model/STL/obj file, placing a surface over xyz movements if the bit shape and size are known…. Hmm! Must what be similar to what happens in simulation mode,.except gcode doesn’t have stock dimensions. Then use that model to recover your file.
