Correct Polarity for Cables?

So, I fabricated linger cables for my drag-link cable channels and found that when I rang out the wires the polarity changed on the Z axis (specifically on the stretchy-coiled cable), but remained consistent on the X & Y axis cables. Is this correct? See the attached image for reference. Thanks.

There is a wire cross on the curly z cable and the inner tube wires. Hooking up your cables incorrectly (non-factory) will damage your controller.
Do not remove the factory z cable.

Luckily I verified the orientation before creating them. I just wanted to make sure it was supposed to be that way before I connect them (in hindsight guess I could have verified the cable inside the tube).

What does Onefinity recommend for those of us wanting to run drag chains for cable management if we are not remove the factory z cable (curly cable not fit well)?

We don’t recommend it.
