Some folks have posted shipping damage to their boxes in another thread, so I thought I’d start a thread for everyone to share any damage prior to opening their boxes.
This was the shape today’s shipment came in (4th axis rotary, HD Leg upgrade for QCW table, and some Jenny bits) I’ll update the post if I find any damage or missing parts once I get a chance to inspect everything.
It’s been my experience so far that 1F packages well enough for the boxes to take quite a few hits w/o damage to the goods. Kudos to 1F’s shipping team.
For claritys sake I’m starting this thread to allow 1F to see if there are consistent areas of damage across shipments.
The damage to our boxes in shipment are the responsibility of the carrier being paid to move the equipment, and sometimes the damage happens for reasonable causes, but the more information 1F has the better they can protect their and our investments as our equipment travels.
You can see they essentially tore the top off the bigger box, though I give UPS credit for actually re-taping, this is the type of damage where I’m hoping no loose parts have gone MIA.
