I have the Revolution Rotary installed on my Onefinity Elite Foreman. I am using Deskproto CAM software to generate NC files for the machine. I have the “MASSO G3 - touch controller - inch” post processor selected. My first test cut is to produce a chess piece from an STL model file that I purchased. The code generated doesn’t position the spindle on the Y axis. I manually jog the machine to Y zero before starting the job. The code moves spindle along the X , Z and rotates the material in the rotary along the A.
Is there a start up command I should add to the Deskproto to ensure the machine is always moved to Y zero before the job starts or is the manual positioning the best method. I can make this work, but interested to know if others have a different approach?
