How to zero the x. y and z on the Masso Controller without a Touch Probe?

Hi,
How do you zero the x, y and z axis on the Masso Controller without a Touch Probe?
Cannot seem to find any documentation on this.
Thank you,
Perry

Install a bit, move to the position you want your zero at x,y and z… For Z you can do the paper trick. Then push on the x, y and z fields on the masso screen and all should show 0,0,0.. Good to go

Welcome to the community.

X and Y are easy - just move the cutter to where you want the X=0, and Y=0 position to be, and press the “X Zero” button, then the “Y Zero”.

For Z… jog the spindle down so the tip of the cutter is where you would like your Z=0 position to be. Then press the Z Zero button.

The “paper trick” Woodpecker mentioned is a good one.
When jogging the spindle down, put a piece of paper on the material under the cutter, and slowly jog the machine down while you move the paper back and forth. There will be a point where the cutter suddenly pins the paper in place; set Z=0 at this point. It’s not perfect, but it’s close enough for most projects. Be sure to jog the machine slowly using a very slow feed rate!

New to Masso. Figured out where the x, y and z zero buttons were at just after I posted here.
Thanks for replying anyway.
