Manual x, y, z zero on Elite

I have always set x,y,z axes zero by using the touch probe. Simple process. However, I now have a job where I need to set the x, y and z zero to the centre of an irregularly shaped project. I assume all I need to do after homing the machine is jog to my desired centre location and tap the X Zero, Y Zero button to set the x and y zero position and flip over the touch probe and zero the z axis using the routine.

I apologize for this basic question, but a search for what I want to do was unsuccessful.

You got. That’s exactly the way to do it.

Remember, X and Y are set at the centerline of the cutter.

Mike,

Thank you, sir! That seemed the reasonable approach.
