I needed to 3d print a lot of dust collection fittings so I made an app to generate them.
Any suggestions?
That’s cool. I’ll give it a shot and let you know how it goes. one of my hoses is the Festool one that has a weird nozzle end that’s a real pita to join to others.
Happy to adjust things if it doesn’t work for you. I haven’t printed a Festool connection yet but probably will soon.

Added a couple features. Friction taper and retention bead. Haven’t tried printing them yet.
I just printed a Powertec 5" blast gate to 4" flex hose and it fit great.
This seems really cool, I cannot wait until I am able to get back out to the shop and try this.

Would you consider making it open source so I can help out? The flange shape and size. I need the flange to remain at a certain size when the other end changes. Would reduce print time if flange different shape like the PwnCNC boots.

You’re right about it being hard to make different size flanges and magnetic flanges match. I reworked them. There are now a set of default flanges which are the same no matter what size pipe it attaches to. This is what you meant right?
I’m happy to change things if anyone has suggestions or problems.
Exactly correct, I will be making several and need the flange to remain a certain size regardless of the pipe size.
If you make one please let me know how it goes. I haven’t printed one of these. Happy to adjust the defaults.
