I finally got around to installing the brake motor on my Foreman Elite. I received the machine in July and assembled it. Once assembled, I started to install the brake motor, but one of the mounting screws was very tight, and the head stripped out. The first three were no problem, but the last one would not come out no matter what I did. I wonder why I didn’t use my impact driver. (live and learn) I put it back together and decided to deal with it later. Well, it’s later. I dug into it tonight, and it was no big deal. I used my Dremel and cut a slot in the head, thinking I could use a slotted screwdriver to back it out. As soon as I tried, one side broke off. So, on the remaining half, I placed the blade of the screwdriver against one side and tapped it with a hammer, and it came right out. I finished the installation, and it works great. Tomorrow, it’s on to tramming.
