Gamepad not working for Z (solved, wrong mode)

I have had two gamepad controllers now that the Z control stops working. Is this a common item and if so, is there a fix or does the game pad controller need to be replace. Running journeyman with buildbotics controller

I have this problem too - I ended up using the jogger in the touchscreen. I would be interested if anyone has any further info on this.

Also running Journeyman (version 1.6.4)

You more than likely have the wrong mode selected
