Help an idiot :)

Steve,

I don’t have my home laptop with me right now, but I am fairly certain I have F360 set up with the generic 3D machine. A 2D machine is only going to generate the commands for two axis rather than three.

This forum thread discusses F360 set-up for the onefinity.

Erik

FWIW your screenshot above shows you are using the Generic 3 axis mill.

Ok I’ve messed up with the screenshots… heres the one that isn’t working. The one I sent last night was actually something that had not been attempted on the machine… but the NC code it generated did lack all Z commands.

Take your time everyone, Remember we’re helping a self described idiot here pretty new to CNCing

These are from the same guard but the second attempt. Very sorry for confusion.

That one actually seems to have a different issue… when doing Post Process this is all I get. ##########
THIS POSTPROCESSOR IS A SAMPLE FOR MACHINE SIMULATION USAGE, IT DOES NOT OUTPUT ANY NC PROGRAM.

Check out the link that @Woodworking_Pilot posted about how to update the machine settings to use the Onefinity post processor.

Yes I spent some time messing around today and that solved it. But we did it guys. Or you did it. You helped an idiot  Thank you all so much!
