Help with set up of laser

I just installed the J-Tech 7w laser and it works. I don’t know how to set the starting point. I am using the laser module for Vectric. Is it set when I set the X and Y with the Makita router or do I need to set the X Y for the laser. If so, how do I make it fire at low power?

I would appreciate any help.

You set the starting point the same way as the router except that you use the gcode post processor instead of the ngc pp when you save the toolpath.
