How to remove stand from 10 inch screen

I want to take the stock screen stand off of the 10 inch screen - hopefully non-destructively. Has anyone figured out how to do this?

I’ve got a nice stand I’d rather use, but because of the stock stand I have the screen up in my stand higher than I want. See the silly legs sticking out in back in the picture.

Chuck,

I got lucky and they shipped mine 10" screen without the magnet bracket attached. Its the block thats sticking up from the legs you noted. They sent me one and told me to glue it on with super glue. Maybe try some fingernail polish remover on the block and see if you can get it to seep in and work enough to remove from the legs. Once its removed the legs sit flush.

Thanks, @rockytoptim it helps to know that it miy be attached via superglue. I’ll have to be careful to keep the acetone away from other areas as it likes to eat plastic, but at least it’s something I can (carefully) try.

Superglue gets weak in the heat but then again, so does plastic.
