J tech 44 w laser to will not fire

I burned projects over the last few weeks and just recently when I type in M3 S10 to set start point on on project and laser will not fire It will fire on manual I tried running the G-Code file and the laser fired sporadically. Not sure fits in one of the settings on the controller or one of the light burn settings. Any ideas?

Manual, as in from a switch on the laser power supply?

Sounds like a bad connector breaking the signal between the Masso and the laser controller. Iā€™d check the connector on the back of the Masso. Mine fell apart once, so I just quit unplugging it.

The variables are S=1 to 1000. So S10 is 1%. I had the exact same issue. Try S15 to S20. I had a o-scope on it looking at the PWM and was going nuts until I realize 1 to 1000 not 1 to 255.

Once it fires you can play with sensitivity a bit and maybe get it lower, but mine was S15 with input gain maxed.
Jtech 44w.

BTW, it is MONSTER compared to my 20W X-Tool. Not as good at photos and engraving but man does it cut.

I hope this solves the problem. S15 did it for me and I could see why on the O-Scope. There was an actual width to the pulse for the PWM signal.

Like I said it was working last week I burned boat on pine and a steam engine on stone

Check and see what volt is coming out of your machine at the feed when you do me s10 should be 5 volts
