Just received my 34W JTech laser and have run into an issue, hopefully someone can help.
I mounted the laser mounting plate to the Z slider, then attached the laser head. I lowered the Z axis all the way with the laser plate at it lowest position. The bottom of the laser head is still about 0.625” above the workpiece (see pic). At the height, I don’t believe the laser will focus correctly. I know I can put a scrap piece of wood under the project piece to raise it, but that may not always be feasible, depending on the project I’m working on.
Am I missing something? Any advice will be appreciated!
