Journeyman 48x32 elite and 4th axis rotary

This is probably a stupid question, but I’ll ask it anyway. Will the 48" rotary axis fit a 48x32 journeyman elite series? i read the 48" model is only for the elite foreman. I don’t really understand that statement because the 48x32 journeyman should fit, correct? This is what I read in the description of the 48" 4th axis: “Over 7 inch wide material can be machined up to 37- 1/4” long (Foreman version only).”

Thanks in advance,
Frank

The 48” is left to right, so it’s fits the foreman and journeyman.

I thought so, but I figured I’d ask before plunking my cash down.
Thank you!

IIRC, the maximum turning-stock diameter is something less than 7" on a Journeyman.

Thanks, but as well, why if the foreman can turn a 7” diameter piece, the journeyman is less than 7”? Is the gantry higher on the foreman?

Yes, as the foreman uses x50 rails for us and we and jm uses x35
