Juddering when lasering photos

Has anyone tried lasering images, (photo’s) with the onefinity and lightburn software?
Im finding it manages svg images etc perfectly, but jpeg style pictures make the x axis judder and lose its zero setpoint after aprox 3 minutes (regardless of speed etc).

I have spoken to lightburn an they are suggesting the onefinity processor is too slow to handle the images, to be honest im struggling to believe a machine of this caliber with a stand alone controller would have an issue processing laser image files, does anyone know the g code throughput of the processor, ie 200 g code instructions per second or 2500 per second etc, many thanks
