Will upgrade from X35 with stiffy bear the weight of 80 mm spindle ?
Dear onefinity, I will be there online the 25th of this month and clicking add to cart at 11am and two seconds lol. I love this offering, and I have been very skeptical before now. but being able to sell my old unit will cover what I am going to spend to get this enhancement to my shop. So I will not be divorced as a result of my tool obsession. Wish me luck.

Yes, but you can expect some more deflection than x50 rails or gen 2 60mm rails. It’s all relative though. To some .003" of defeclition would be invisable, to others, game breaking.

I currently have a BB controller with the redline spindle. If I get the upgrade kit and jump to the redline vfd, will I need different cabling for the spindle? The spindle page says both BB and Redline use an RJ-485, but I just want to make sure I’m not missing anything.
Really exciting to see the Redline Upgrade Kits finally available! The closed loop motors, upgraded power supply, and new interface features look like a major step forward. Apologies I am a little confused, ask me to produce items on a CNC one off;s or massive runs and I am your man and happy to do it, ask me to build a CNC or configure motion controllers or software then I start to wobble.
I have an original Woodworker with a BB controller its a great bit of kit couple with the air weights system and a unsupported spindle (we will gloss over that) it all works hard for its living and i have it dialled in for my needs holding great tolerance’s.
I have always thought the BB controller had some short comings the main one being feed rate on the fly.
If some one could answer me these couple of questions I would be very thankful
Can I replace the BB controller with a Redline Scrren & Motion Controller?
If so can i retain the original motors and wiring? ( i am happy with stall homing)
Is there a pendent available for the Redline? is there an after market one? is there one planned?
Is this a plug and play upgrade?
Depending on the answers to the above where can i order, how much and when can i get one
