Just FYI…I’m not sure where they got their probe dimensions from, but the default Redline/Realtime Z dimension was almost .25" off from my actual probe. I recall the Buildbotics defaults were a little off, but not this far off. Yikes.

In my experience the defaults were spot on, but perhaps they’ve changed the probe block dimensions recently?

I’m using the probe block that came with my Elite Journeyman Redline V1 (Batch 2) which I ordered last November.

My Z axis cuts have just barely kissed the waste board when cutting through, so I’m fairly certain, at least on my machine, the defaults were good.

Though, I agree with you, as my father taught me, “Measure twice cut once”, or my father in-law’s corollary (fine worker versus framer) “I cut it twice and it was still too small”.

mine was off on y/x one is 2.126 default, the other was 2.114
