You can plug the keyboard into the open internal USB port. I have a wireless USB keyboard dongle plugged in there, and I just leave it in all the time. This allows me to use the keyboard whenever I want and kept the external USB port open for the thumb drive.

No. The tapping the screen to enter the firmware loading screen quit forking. The F1 soft-key probably works fine, but thatās not accessible prior to boot.
@RickDuVall make sure the firmware file has the .HTG extension. The 5.07 version filename is G3-16963 - MASSO 5-Axis v5.07, WiFi, Touch, QR, Multi-Head.HTG and make sure it is in a folder at the root level called MASSO.
So double check the USB drive and make sure the firmware file is in the MASSO directory.
I did not need to use a keyboard.

Hi Michael. Do you happen to know if Masso also have an Android app as well as an IPhone one and if so what the icon looks like. I can only find one app which mentions Masso and that app is called MASSO myWorkshop from a company called MASSO Australia. I donāt want to install that app if itās the wrong one.

Thank for the extremely rapid reply, itās very much appreciated. Iāve downloaded the app but Iām unable to login. There does not seem to be a page to set up an account. Tried the forgot password page but get a āUnable to generate OPTā message. When I try the login page and enter an email and password I get a āInvalid User Credentialsā message. Do you have any guidance on setting up an account?

I had the same issue until I realized that this is linked to your original purchase email. You should have gotten an activation email from Masso and in that email there is a link to follow to setup the Myworkshop account.
If that link has expired you can request a new activation link and just put in the correct email. A new email will be sent with a fresh link. With that you should be good to go.

Many, many thanks for your reply email. It all makes sense now and is logical. As I havenāt purchased my CNC yet I havenāt received such an email. Iāll leave the app on my phone and activate it when I purchase the CNC next month.

I went to do this update to 5.07, I have a PNY Thumb drive formatted and partitioned correctly, enter a Masso folder with the update file from MyWorkshop loaded in the Masso Folder, I insert the drive , turn on Masso while tapping the screen, the software load page comes up but indicates there is no software on the drive to install , I tried with two different jump drives.
Any ideas?

Did you make the folder in all caps (MASSO)?
Also is your drive formatted FAT32 with the default Allocation Unit Size?
Yes, all caps and yes formatted FAT 32 , it is a 32 Gb
I used an 8GB drive when I did my controller, there might be a size limit. I can verify in a little bit when Iām at the machine.
The documentation says 32 Max and I use a 32 Gb to load files all the time.

Did not fix my WiFi disconnect. The next morning Iām faced with the old āConnecting ā¦ā status. Irritating, but not a show stopper. Just wish they could resolve it.
Pretty sad that our expectations have been reduced to six continuous hours without a disconnect! I woke up this morning to see it disconnected, so ā¦ not fixed for me. I leave my CNC on and almost always, but not always, have to cycle it before a session.
I did the upgrade today from 5.06, and the odd problem I see is that now I canāt just go to f4 to switch tools, clicking āauto tool zeroā on a new tool reports ātool not loadedā where it used to just test the new tool.
Have you posted this on masso forum or created a ticket with them?
