Did you update MASSO Link to v1.12 also? There are so many people that have had success with the WiFi disconnect issue with this new software. You are the first I’ve heard from that has not.

My MASSO is on 24-7 also and I have not had a disconnect in 9 days and running. I’ve uploaded 43 files (some quite large) too.

So… I spent over an hour yesterday trying to connect. Nothing worked.
I randomly decided to see if there was a newer Link and BAM!
It’s been connected since. Fingers crossed, but also hopeful.

Had you installed the MASSO Link v1.12 release when you upgraded MASSO firmware to 5.7?
Pretty sure Peter with Masso figured it out for me, I have 2 Masso Touch Controls, I was using the update for the wrong one, apparently they are serial number sensitive.

For those of you who are having problems like I was getting into the Masso Touch software download screen there is a simple fix. From the Masso forum a user posted to pull the USB from the bottom of the controller before powering up the machine. If this is done then tapping on the screen works every time. Once in the update screen plugin your USB with the update in a folder named MASSO. Select the update and bobs-your-uncle the update is done.
I had tried 3 different USBs (2 sandisk) properly formatted with both tapping and F1 on a keyboard and after 10 tries each way the keyboard did finally go into the software update screen.
After updating I tried tapping with the USB installed no luck. Then I tried tapping WITHOUT the USB installed and the controller immediately went into the software update screen.

I have updated to 5.07 and installed Masso Link 2.12 but am unable to connect , I have been using Masso Link prior version since day one for months now and struggling to get it to work now, my computer say’s unable to connect.

Make sure the IP address for the MASSO has not changed. And make sure you are actually using MASSO Link 1.12 and not accidentally using the older version.

After using the 5.07 update for a while now, not much new for me, the App is nice and msg for a tool change, I was expecting the feed rate override to be 150%.
Oh well.

Hi Pat. Can you elaborate on this. Im also having the same issue. The controller does not see the update file. Ive tried two USBs which have no issue displaying g-code. Ive downloaded the only available version of 5.07 on the Masso “myworkshop” app. “G3-17979 - MASSO 5-Axis v5.07, WiFi, Touch, QR, Multi-Head.HTG”. Nothing seems to work…

M y issue was that I have 2 Masso G3 Touch controls, I was using the wrong S/N on the wrong Control, once I got that straightened out it worked like it should have.
