Just installed my Redline spindle. After going through the break-in process, I pushed the button on the VFD to turn the spindle off. Next thing I did was turn the monitor off. Now after shutting down the screen, I tried to cut the power to the controller (buildbotics), but the screen then flashes bright colors across the whole monitor. I ended up having to unplug the whole thing to get the flashing stopped. I am not able to just pull the plug at the end of the day, as I have it wired to a couple individual dedicated circuits and can’t reach them when my machine is in its location.
The screen flashing the 4 colors is a screen save. The screen has its own power and power button. Just turn off the screen by pushing the screen power button.
