i BOUGHT A FILE SEVERAL ACTUALY ON ETSY. i OPNED THE FILE IT SHOW UP IN 2D BUT IN 3D NADA NOTHING SHOWS EXCEPT THE BOARD THE DESIGN IS SUPOSED TO BE ON I GO BACK TO 2D AND CLIK ON A VECTOR IT GLOWS PINK BUT THIS HAS A TON OF LINES iT IS A SPOIL BOARD FLATTENING FILE AND GRID FILE. BUT I HAVE NOT A CLUE AS TO HOW TO ACTUALLY USE IT.
What kind of file did you purchase (.dxf, .svg, .crv, .stl, …)? What software are you using for CAM? Does the file you purchased contain toolpaths or is it just a vector drawing? You did not provide much to go on here.
Sounds like you are using Vectric, and that you have vectors but no toolpath(s). To verify this, create a toolpath for those vectors (when they are pink, meaning they’re selected). Once you’ve made a toolpath it will show in 3D view.
