Has anyone ever had issues with the oramask not sticking to the wood? I am doing a text on text project and painted the initial stock black and coated it with poly to prevent bleed. The oramask didn’t stick to the stock, so I’m assuming it just doesn’t adhere well to poly, but wanted to see if anyone adhered oramask to poly before.

I’ve had no issues with it sticking to poly or other clear coat base coats. Did you appropriately smooth the surface before the clear coat? I normally go to 220. I also use a plastic squeegee to help adhesion.
That’s a spot-on point to make. Masking has pressure activated adhesives which is why it doesn’t stick to the roll. A squeegee or printer’s brayer are critical to masking success.
