I’m getting ready to dip my toe in the cnc pool. Is a used original woodworker from 2021 a good machine? Any issues, etc. I should be aware of before taking the plunge?
It’s a great machine. I got mine new from the same year. Still running like it did the first day, no issues.
I really like how Onefinity continues to not only support this machine with software updates and upgrade paths, but also back-ported the rotary axis to run on this machine!
I upgraded mine with a 1.5kw spindle. I had to change the Z holder to an 80mm one but that’s it. It works with the Buildbotics controller.
For a hobby its been great.
