I ordered a QCW for my X-50 but it has not arrived as of today. I was wondering if this is truly a value add. I have had my OF CNC for about 6 weeks now and doing well. I store run the CNC horizontal but store it vertical when not in use. Can the QCW be mounted to a table top? Or, is it better to just do your own spoil-board and cancel the order?

Definitely. I’ve got the QCW secure from above version on order for my Journeyman. It’s going to live on a revolving tabletop (modified Fisher design). The tabletop is a torsion box using 3/4" ply. The QCW will allow me to mount it and provide the spoilboard. I could make my own spoilboard &t-track but I figure the QCW gives me a bit more precision machined reliability for mounting that’s worth the price. Not strictly necessary but I was already into it for a pile of money anyway
