Well, I finally have my new Woodworker Elite set up with a QCW attached from above wasteboard. First thing I see is that the machine obviously won’t cover the entire wasteboard, but that brings me to the question of what to do to flatten it. There will be a lip around 3 sides. Other than cutting the boards short or attaching a second wasteboard (thus negating the use of the T tracks), does anyone have any suggestions?

I just finished setting up my Woodworker QCW. A few things I did include:
- Cut all boards to 32" long
- Cut far left and right slats to 1.5" wide
- Line the front of each board up with the front (end) of the T-Track
Here’s my VCarve file:
OnefinitySpoilboard_QCW_v06.crv (4.9 MB)
Doing the things noted above allowed me to use a 1.25" surfacing bit to cover the entire cutting area, and I can use a 1/4" bit and still perform cuts in all corners as well.
Notes:
- I had to tweak the placement of the anchoring holes about .04" (1mm), probably because of slight manufacturing and/or assembly variances, but running a test is definitely recommended.
- My VCarve file is in metric
- The VCarve file includes dog holes for 1/4" PVC pipe (21.5mm dia.) AND for standard 3/4" woodworking dogs/clamps.
Cheers

Thank you. I did just that today!
Just finding this. I appreciate the help. one question. Im seeing a few of the layers locked. is this just to prevent accidentally moving the holes?
