Scaling up or down in vrave pro?

I have a 1f jm i bought some files on etsy and they are for materials that is 58 inches by whatever . way too big I want to scale the image to fit a 12 x 12 inch square of maple but when i press cale the image to the material i get a weidly distorted image. so how do i set this image into a material scale that i want to carve?

There should usually be an option to lock the aspect ratio. Sometimes you can only scale and condense things so much though. Hard to say without seeing the file, but that could be what’s happening.

Thanks, funny but after i got the links and looked at them I realized that i had already done that, but it still wasn’t coming out right. what I missed was i was highlighting the numbers (which i thought were 59 by something) but were actually 159 by something, so I was not getting the first number so it was only changing some of the digits and not the first one which I could not see on the tiny box LOL once I found that problem i was ok. but your push in the right direction helped. Thank you.
